For over 30 years, Elexalde has specialized in the development and management of turn-key accommodation projects. Working jointly with the shipyard, the vessel’s internal fittings are fully developed by our Engineering and Design Department. Having highly qualified personnel, we supply and install decorative panels, doors and ceilings, subsurfaces, decorative floor surfaces, curtains, upholstery, kitchen and laundry equipment, storeroom, etc. We supply and install modular toilets. We fully insulate the vessel. Having our own furniture factory, we are able to give an immediate response to the delivery and installation onboard of all kinds of furniture.
For many years, Elexalde has been working together with ship owners and the main shipyards around: La Naval, Murueta, Zamakona, etc.
FURNITURE
In every naval accommodation process in a vessel, maintaining the harmony, fitting and finishes in the furniture of a boat is a major challenge, being partly a matter of adaptability to the space available and the design. It is of the utmost importance for us to offer wellness and tranquility to the crew onboard. Looking at the final results, it is essential for us that people feel comfortable.

DECORATION PROJECT
Prior to the beginning of each work, a decoration project of the area is developed by Elexalde. Starting with an infographic proposal of each space, it is then presented to the client, containing different variants and finishes, so as to be modified to suit the client's tastes and necessities. Finally, we provide a realistic decoration project, agreed by both sides, exceeding our clients’ expectations and avoiding las minute unpleasant surprises. INSULATION
Elexalde has always considered insulation an essential issue in the final result of an accommodation project. This is due to the fact that limited or poorly installed accommodation will sentence the area almost forever to poor soundproofing, heat loss or even, in the most serious cases, insufficient resistance to fire.
The demanding noise and vibration studies that are nowadays elaborated in every vessel require the company in charge of the accommodation project to work conscientiously, especially when it comes to purchasing the right material and installing it in order to ensure the greatest outcome.
Such a relevant task cannot be entrusted to anyone. Consequently, our company only relies on highly qualified professionals. Elexalde takes care of the three most relevant aspects when insulating: sound insulation, fire protection and energy efficiency. Therefore, we exclusively employ the widely recognized leading brands in this field, such as: PAROC, ROCKWOOL o ISOVER.
PANELS, CEILINGS AND DOORS
One of the key points in a turn-key accommodation project is the supply and assembly of the bulkheads, ceilings and doors.
Our Technical Office is able to offer all kinds of solutions to the ship-owner. Starting with offering the utmost quality of the supplied material with high noise reduction, great heat insulation and a wide range of decorative finishes. Regarding its decorative analyses, Elexalde makes several proposals of combinations of colours, showing diverse finishes and sizes, being able to offer original proposals in accordance with our clients' wishes.
Elexalde has an installation team with over 20 years of experience. We know our work and we manage to refurbish different areas in record time. Our teams offer a solution where others get stuck. We work together with the greatest manufacturers in the market, like Panelship or Norac.
FLOOR SURFACES
The floors installed by Elexalde are characterized by exclusively using the leading materials in the market.
The floor surfaces of a room mark the beginning of a project. Elexalde considers the floor surfaces a core and an essential element. We monitor and endeavour to its correct and appropriate installation. We perceive this task as one of the most delicate and, at times, complex in our labour, and we specialize in the installation of floor surfaces counting on the best professionals in the field.
It is widely known that in a vessel there are several areas and uses, which define the floor composition. Therefore, the inaccurate installation or selection of the materials would lead to permanent insurmountable shortcomings.
A correct installation of the floor surfaces ensures a flawless finish in the vinyl, rubber button and carpet installation in the different rooms of the vessel.
The technical floors installed in wheelhouses and technical facilities deserve special mention. They are placed over a stand which allows their levelling, having to create openings for the ducts, cables or level changes.
